Configuring a Job

Setting up the initial settings / configuration of a job

Updated over a week ago

Once you activate a job, you can configure different parts of the job. Below are details on what this configuration is and a helper video on how to do it.

  • Display Name - this is the name you'd like to show candidates. By default, it will be the name coming from your ATS. You can overwrite it here.

  • Ignored stages - you can add stages here to be "ignored" by candidate.fyi. This means you won't see any candidates who are in these stages within candidate.fyi. It also means any candidate in this stage will not be able to access the portal. Typical examples of ignored stages are sourced, applied, referred.

  • Offer Stage - depending on the ATS you use, you may have the ability to select what your "Offer Stage" is. This is helpful if your ATS doesn't provide a built in offers capability (or you don't want to use it). Candidates who are in the designated Offer stage will show up under "Offer" tabs and be included in "Offer" counts.

  • Hired Stage - again, depending on the ATS you use, you may have the ability to select what your "Hired Stage" is. This is helpful if your ATS doesn't provide a built-in way to mark a candidate as hired. You can then choose which stage a "Hired" candidate means. Candidate who are in the designated Hired stage will show up under "Hired" tabs and be included in "Hired" counts.

  • Pulse emails enabled - This setting determines if you'd like emails to go out to candidates to prompt them to complete a pulse.

  • Portal invitation emails enabled - If you'd like candidate.fyi to send invitation emails to your candidates. Read more here.

  • Interviewer follow ups enabled - whether you'd like to enable interviewer thank you/follow ups for this job. Read more here
