Introduction
This section of the help documentation provides detailed instructions on how to configure and manage the Slack integration within the platform. The Slack integration is designed to facilitate communication and coordination among team members regarding interview processes.
You will need an admin on Slack to connect the account

Accessing Slack Integration Settings
To access Slack integration settings:
Navigate to the 'Settings' menu.
Select 'Integrations' from the sidebar.
Click on the 'Slack' tab within the Integrations section.
Slack Features
Sync Member Profiles - We sync all of the team profiles from Slack to populate their interviewer profile - including photo, title, and pronouns
Interviewer Followups - This feature allows for sending interview followups (or thank yous) to interviewers to allow them to thank the candidate
The toggle switch labeled "Enable candidate follow ups to interviewers in Slack" allows you to control whether notifications about candidate follow-ups are sent to interviewers via Slack.
When the toggle is switched on, interviewers will receive automated follow-up notifications within Slack
Interview Channels - This feature allows for setting the global set of users who will be defaulted to all slack channels when creating them for a scheduling request (e.g. your coordination team)
Default Channel Members: This section allows you to manage who among your team members will be added to all interview channels created by by default.
You can search for and select members to add as default participants in the interview channel discussions
Note: Changes to integration settings are typically reflected immediately, but it can sometimes take a few minutes for changes to propagate.
Troubleshooting & Support
If you experience any issues with the Slack integration, ensure you have the correct permissions in both the recruitment platform and your Slack workspace.
Should problems persist after checking permissions, you can reach out to platform support for assistance. Include details such as the actions you've taken, any error messages received, and a description of the issue.
