This feature allows you to book available rooms directly as part of the interview scheduling process. Follow this guide to set up room booking integration, using Google Rooms as an example.
Prerequisites

Administrative access to your Candidate.fyi account.
Access to your organization's Google account with the ability to manage and view resources
Setting Up Room Booking Integration
Step 1: Connect Your Rooms to candidate.fyi
To use rooms in the booking process, they must first be connected to Candidate.fyi through your Google account.
1. Access Global Settings
Log into your Candidate.fyi account and navigate to Global Settings from the dashboard or settings menu.
2. Navigate to Integrations
In the Global Settings, find and select the Integrations section to view available integration options.
3. Connect to Google
Look for the Google integration option and select it to connect your Candidate.fyi account to your Google account. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection, which will allow candidate.fyi to access your list of available conference rooms.
If you add more rooms to your Google account after the initial connection, you will need to resynchronize those rooms with Candidate.fyi to include them in the scheduling process.
Step 2: Enable Room Booking for Scheduling
With your rooms connected, you can now enable and select rooms as part of the interview scheduling process, either for interview rounds (at the template level) or for individual scheduling requests.
1. Enable Room Booking
When creating or editing an interview round or scheduling request, look for the toggle labeled "Room Booking Enabled" and select it. This enables the room booking feature for that particular scheduling request.
2. Select Rooms
After enabling room booking, a dropdown list will appear for each interview slot during the scheduling process. This list includes all available conference rooms that you've connected from your Google account.
Select the desired room from the dropdown for each interview slot. candidate.fyi will automatically add the chosen room as an attendee to the meeting, ensuring the room is booked for the duration of the interview.
