This guide outlines the steps to set up a candidate portal in candidate.fyi

1. Activate the Portal

Start by activating the portal for a job already existing in your Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Choose Non-Activated Jobs: select any job that hasn’t been activated in candidate.fyi and proceed to activate it. This links the job opening with a new candidate portal.

2. Create and Map Stages

After activation, establish the stages candidates will see and map these to the corresponding stages in your ATS.

  • Define Candidate-Facing Stages: Identify the stages of the recruitment process that will be visible to candidates, such as Application Received, Interview, and Offer.

  • Map ATS Stages: Link each candidate-facing stage to the appropriate stage in your ATS. This ensures the portal accurately reflects the candidate's progress.

3. Create Content for Stages

For each candidate-facing stage, you can create and customize content.

  • Customize Content per Stage: Develop specific content for each stage to inform candidates about their current status or next steps in the recruitment process.

By following these steps, you'll set up a candidate portal in candidate.fyi that reflects the recruitment process stages in your ATS and provides candidates with relevant information at each stage.
