Page Overview

When candidates receive a booking link, they will see a streamlined interface that allows them to schedule an interview. This page is part of the interview booking process and is crucial for providing a smooth experience for potential candidates.

Scheduling an Interview

  1. Interview Details: At the top of the page, candidates will see the name of the interview they are scheduling (e.g., "Finance Systems Lead Interview"), along with important details such as:

    • The duration of the interview (30 minutes).

    • The platform for the interview (Google Meet).

    • The specific time slot they have selected (e.g., 9:45 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024).

    • The interviewer's name and photo, which helps personalize the process.

  2. Choosing a Time Slot:

    • The page provides a calendar interface where available time slots on specific dates can be chosen.

    • Candidates can navigate through the calendar to select a preferred date and time for the interview.

    • The time slots are displayed according to the interviewer's availability and any buffer times set by the organization.

  1. Entering Details:

    • Candidates must provide necessary personal details such as their first name, last name, and email address.

    • They are also prompted to provide a LinkedIn profile URL and to upload their resume, ensuring that the interviewer has access to their background information in advance. (these will both be synced to the ATS)

    • These fields are marked with an asterisk to indicate that they are required.

  2. Finalizing the Booking:

    • Once the details are filled in and the candidate has chosen a time slot, they can finalize the booking by clicking the "Schedule" button.

    • After scheduling, a confirmation will typically be sent to the candidate's email, and the event will be added to both the candidate's and the interviewer's calendars (as separate calendar invites)

Key Functionalities

  • Easy Navigation: The back arrow at the top allows candidates to return to the previous page if they need to select a different job or correct any information.

  • Clarity of Information: The interface clearly shows all required fields, minimizing the chances of a candidate missing important details.

  • Confirmation and Transparency: Candidates can view the exact time of their interview in their own timezone, ensuring there is no confusion.

Candidate Experience

  • The page is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for a hassle-free booking experience.

  • Candidates can choose a time that fits their schedule within the constraints set by the interviewer’s availability.

Technical Notes

  • The booking system will account for the interviewer's set working hours and any other meetings or events that may already be scheduled.
